Honors Program Director
A Welcome From Our Director
Welcome to the Honors Program at Columbus State University, where
we give the already academically talented students who enter our
program challenging academic and service opportunities that enable them to
thrive not only as successful undergraduates but also will position them
for successful graduate and professional careers. I welcome you to our
website and hope you take the time to learn a little about who we are and
what we have to offer outstanding students who have a heart to use their
academic and service strengths to make a positive difference in the lives of
others around them. Honors students benefit from smaller class sizes, specialized coursework, study abroad opportunities, internships that offer practical experiences, undergraduate research with renowned faculty, personal attention from staff
and professors. While the CSU Honors Program offers a range of opportunities
for academic and personal growth, it is the dynamism, creativity, and diversity of
our students that adds excitement and makes our program an outstanding
community of scholars who make a difference on our campus and in our community.
